The objectives of ECA are as follows: a) To safeguard and promote the interests of European club football in particular and club football in general; b) To be recognized by UEFA and FIFA as the sole body representing the interests of clubs at European and global level; c) To represent the interests of clubs as employers in Europe and, where applicable, internationally, including in the context of social dialogue, and where applicable, to act as a social partner; d) To contribute to the healthy development of UEFA-organized European club competitions and other international club competitions organized by other governing bodies in which European football clubs participate, by participating, where applicable, in the decision-making process and co-management of competition elements; e) To provide information and conclude agreements on the international match calendar; f) To contribute to good governance in European and global football, in particular by participating in the relevant bodies established within UEFA and FIFA; g) To promote the exchange of information and expertise between UEFA, FIFA, and clubs; h) To cooperate and promote the exchange of information and expertise with all football clubs in Europe and worldwide; i) To provide services, support, and opportunities to football clubs, in order to promote their interests and help them achieve their objectives; j) To operate a network of clubs to enable other football clubs to engage with ECA and its members and, where possible, to benefit from ECA's services, support, and opportunities; k) To support and defend the integrity and regularity of competitions and matches, as well as the sporting values and principles on which European football is based; l) In general, to ensure cooperation between clubs and UEFA/FIFA in areas related to European and global club football; m) To achieve these objectives, to maintain contacts, cooperation, and negotiations with any football organization or public or private institution concerned, including in particular the relevant social partners, as well as with non-member football clubs; n) To achieve these objectives, to create, manage, and/or operate any entity/structure that may improve ECA's capabilities, presence, or efficiency, including, in particular, joint ventures, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or charitable organizations; o) To be a leading organization in promoting and implementing significant, tangible, and ambitious policies of fairness, inclusion, and diversity in football, including by setting appropriate objectives and implementing necessary actions to advance (across all members, ECA bodies, and ECA representatives) equal opportunities, active engagement, and inclusive participation throughout ECA, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, racial criteria, nationality, ethnic origin, color, religion or belief, disability, or any other distinctive factor, as well as plans for monitoring and reporting on these objectives; and p) To carry out any other action aimed at achieving the objectives of the association or considered ancillary or conducive to achieving any of these objectives.
