Promotion of the dissemination of information on research in the theory and practice of computer vision. To this end, the association promotes this field and its researchers through the organization of relevant activities. The association acts altruistically and does not pursue its own economic goals. The purpose of the statutes is implemented in particular through: supporting and implementing measures for the European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV); ensuring open access to ECCV documents; developing a proactive strategy to ensure the future role of computer vision and ECCV in computer science; entering into contracts with publishers and other business partners with the aim of supporting, promoting, improving, promoting and serving computer vision and ECCV; providing academic, logistical and, if necessary, financial support to the organizers of the ECCV; coordinating initiatives, activities and projects through appropriate measures to achieve the institutional goals of the association; promoting, identifying and rewarding high-quality computer vision research and promoting its dissemination; supporting young computer vision researchers; establishing structures for building the computer vision community in Europe; supporting relationships with other international organizations, e.g. CVF. The association may engage in all activities and take all necessary measures to achieve its purpose and achieve the aforementioned goals.
