a) The trade, manufacture, purchase, sale, import and export of all types of pharmaceutical, chemical and medical products; b) The purchase, sale, holding and management of participations in all kinds of companies or enterprises, in Switzerland or abroad. With regard to participations in real estate companies located in Switzerland, they will be limited to real estate companies whose buildings are exclusively for commercial use. Furthermore, the Company may: carry out all financial, commercial, industrial, movable and immovable transactions (in compliance with the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners) in Switzerland and abroad, directly or indirectly related to the main purpose; create subsidiaries and branches in Switzerland and abroad; participate in all enterprises having a direct or indirect connection with its purpose; exploit financially, industrially or commercially all intellectual property rights, including trademarks and patents, grant and assign licenses in relation to such rights; grant loans or guarantees to subsidiaries, shareholders or third parties.
