The association represents the interests of professional and industry associations as well as companies, particularly domestic market-oriented SMEs, in all matters of public procurement and all areas relevant to the awarding activities of the public sector. It raises awareness among procurement agencies, political decision-makers, and the public for a public procurement policy that creates a level playing field for companies producing in Switzerland and is SME-friendly. The association actively contributes to the design of procurement policy framework conditions, legislation, and practical implementation at all levels of government. With targeted information, consulting, training, and mediation activities, as well as other services, it serves as a point of contact for all questions within its field of activity. The association protects the interests and rights of its members, in particular and to the extent legally permissible, in proceedings before authorities and courts.
