The foundation harnesses the positive power of cultural creation, particularly music, to support children in their development and acquisition of fundamental skills. By promoting and implementing targeted support in the music and cultural sectors in economically disadvantaged regions, it aims to enable a large number of disadvantaged children to participate regularly in cultural activities. It creates, operates, supports and promotes musical and cultural activities that sustainably improve the mental health, social integration, rights, equal opportunities, education and quality of life of children and young people, as well as their communities, who suffer from the consequences of poverty, social or economic insecurity, armed conflicts, displacement or flight. The foundation supports international organizations with similar goals. It raises awareness among the national and international public about the importance of musical and cultural development and children's rights, informs about planned and ongoing projects, and requests moral and financial support for these projects from private individuals and the public. The foundation can also support disadvantaged children worldwide, in general, and particularly in social, health or educational terms, by providing financial contributions to national and international organizations and institutions that care for such children. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes. It can establish branches or subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad.
