The association brings together associations with equivalent cultural, artistic, educational and recreational interests and similar public interest objectives, while respecting the independence of the specific purposes of its members. The association aims to give its members greater visibility towards the Ticinese and international population; to obtain recognition at the municipal and cantonal level as a Forum of Associations, which groups together Ticinese associations; to obtain greater presence in municipal and cantonal commissions, in the cultural sub-committees of the Canton and other committees with common purposes; to obtain greater visibility towards Ticinese institutions and media; to obtain financial benefits for the organization of cultural events; to strengthen the positions of members towards municipal and cantonal institutions. Furthermore, the association promotes collaboration and understanding among its members through the organization of common activities and the support of specific initiatives, provided they are of general interest and consistent with the social purposes. The association is independent of political parties and is non-denominational.
