To promote, organize, discipline and disseminate the practice of sports for people with intellectual and relational disabilities, structured according to democratic criteria, aimed at ensuring the right to participate in sports activities for these individuals, in conditions of equality and equal opportunities. FederSwiss - Sport For All also has the purpose of: promoting and disciplining the practice of sports aimed at people with intellectual and relational disabilities and related activities; taking care of the technical, competitive and organizational preparation of the National Teams, when they participate in the Paralympic Games or other international competitions; organizing, promoting and sponsoring sports competitions, in any discipline, at every level and in the Regional, National and International fields; promoting experimental sports disciplines, in the development phase, which do not have the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of Paralympic or high-level sports; pursuing recruitment goals for practitioners, capillary dissemination of the federal sports message, organization of youth events and events in which sports can become a direct vehicle for integration and socialization of people with intellectual and relational disabilities; favoring studies and research in the field of sports and related fields, from a medical, social, economic and legal point of view, also through the establishment of special Commissions; organizing, coordinating and participating in socio-medical-sports events, in order to propagate the problems of people with intellectual and relational disabilities; promoting relations and the exchange of information with all Associations, Federations or groups of people, who, in Switzerland or abroad, act with similar purposes; studying technical issues related to the practical realization of sports for people with intellectual and relational disabilities; favoring cultural relations and collaboration between doctors, sociologists, psychologists and all those interested in the purposes of the Federation; collaborating with schools and universities in order to promote and develop the practice of sports aimed at people with intellectual and relational disabilities; supporting training activities through various initiatives, also in collaboration with other Olympic and Paralympic Sports Federations and with other public Bodies and/or Institutions; contributing to the adoption of measures to prevent and repress doping in sports and to protect the health of athletes. Assists team members for national and international championships; represents the interests of sports publicly; collaborates with national and international sports federations; supports existing and forming teams; promotes and disciplines the practice of sports for all and elite sports for the sports disciplines decided by the presidency; takes care of the technical, competitive and organizational preparation of the National Teams, when they participate in the Olympic Games or other international competitions for the sports disciplines decided by the presidency; promotes sports for all and sports ethics.
