The company's purpose is the operation of an agricultural estate, the trade and processing of agricultural goods and products, all agricultural work for third parties, as well as the acquisition and sale of agricultural properties, with the exception of transactions prohibited by the federal law on the acquisition of real estate by foreigners (LFAIE). The company may:
- lease agricultural properties (whether or not these constitute together an agricultural enterprise within the meaning of the federal law on rural real estate law - LDFR);
- establish branches in Switzerland and abroad;
- (with the exception of transactions prohibited by the LFAIE), take participations in all enterprises in Switzerland and abroad, grant loans notably to the partners, acquire or create similar or similar enterprises and undertake all functions which are likely to develop the purpose of the company or which have a direct or indirect relationship with its object, as well as all financial and real estate operations related thereto.
