Promotion, dissemination, and preservation of the work of the founder, Alain Daniélou, particularly his literary and musicological works. Maintenance of the 'Alain Daniélou Study Centre, Harsharan Foundation', established in Zagarolo, near Rome, Italy. This centre houses Alain Daniélou's archives, manuscripts of his books, correspondence, and a significant collection of photographs of India, and manages the website opened in the founder's name. The Centre, recognized as a cultural association by the Italian authorities, welcomes students and researchers from all over Europe and also from Switzerland, particularly in three areas: Indian studies, musicology, and studies specifically related to Alain Daniélou. The foundation will organize debates, exhibitions, seminars, and concerts to continue and update Alain Daniélou's work on various aspects of his oeuvre, including musicology, visual arts, and thought. As a public utility, the foundation does not pursue any lucrative or commercial purpose.
