The Foundation aims to promote historical and sociopolitical research in the fields of classical music, literature, architecture, sculpture, and pictorial art in Europe between 1870 and 1940 (period of the Third French Republic). The Foundation will achieve its purpose through the means deemed appropriate by its Board, including: - the creation and management of a Research Center, possibly a museum, - the organization of congresses and other forums bringing together researchers, - the financing of projects carried out in collaboration with university teaching institutions, - support for higher education, in particular universities, colleges, and research institutes that can be assimilated to them, in Switzerland and abroad, - the awarding of scholarships to students, doctoral students, and other university researchers or equivalent, - the publication of scientific works, notably through an annual publication, - the creation and dissemination of a classical music support under its own label, - occasional support for cultural events highlighting the arts under the Third French Republic. The foundation will ensure the maintenance, notably through floral arrangements, of the founder's and her husband's graves. The foundation will have no profit-making purpose. The Foundation is entitled to carry out all activities necessary to achieve its purpose. It may create other foundations or legal entities. It may acquire real estate.
