The foundation's purpose is: a) to ensure, to the greatest extent possible, the preservation of the major and most representative works of Bernard Viglino's artistic production in the fields of painting, sculpture, mosaic, and stained glass, as well as all documents and archival materials related to these works; b) to make these works known to the public through all appropriate means, not only through exhibitions or displays in museums and other public places in Switzerland and abroad, but also through publications, studies, or conferences; c) to promote any research that could contribute to a better understanding of these collections; d) to preserve the building known as La Maison Bernoise located on parcel 85 in Chavornay, in its current state as much as possible and by maintaining it regularly, and to authorize visits upon explicit request presented to a member of the foundation board. The foundation does not pursue any profitable purpose.
