To provide assistance to employees and workers of Ebauches S.A. and affiliated companies, as well as their dependents, in cases of material difficulties resulting from illness, accident, unemployment or other causes beyond their control; to intervene on behalf of employees and workers of Ebauches S.A. and affiliated companies who, without serious fault on their part, are facing financial difficulties; to carry out operations aimed at making housing at moderate rents available to the personnel of Ebauches S.A. and affiliated companies. The foundation may also pay to the Pension Fund and Provident Fund for the benefit of the personnel of Ebauches S.A. and affiliated companies all or part of the amounts necessary to cover a deficit resulting from the technical balance sheet or to improve benefits, as well as take charge of all or part of the contributions due to the Pension Fund by Ebauches S.A., affiliated companies or insured parties.
