To grant material and financial aid, in the form of loans or scholarships, to students or alumni of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers in Paris, wishing to undertake internships for improvement and to attend courses outside of France, notably in the USA and Switzerland; to promote international research by financing research work undertaken by students or alumni of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, including for students of Swiss nationality; to award prizes or rewards to engineering students or engineers from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers who are particularly deserving; to assist members of the Society of Alumni of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers; to grant the same aid and subsidies to alumni graduates of the Federal Polytechnic School of Zurich or Lausanne, wishing to complete their training in France at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, as well as to Swiss students not holders of a diploma from the Federal Polytechnic School of Zurich or Lausanne, but who have passed the entrance exam to the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (see statutes for full purpose).
