The foundation aims to preserve and enhance the historical and cultural heritage of the Bex salt mines, in particular by: - organizing temporary or permanent exhibitions, setting up one-off events related to its environment; - developing the historical heritage; - developing the tourist site, in particular by seeking funding. It may expand its field of activity to collaborate with other entities with a similar purpose. It may carry out all non-profit public utility activities that have a direct or indirect connection with its purpose.
