Fondation du Musée de Charmey

Management and administration of the Foundation's assets and a regional museum in Charmey; this includes in particular: the presentation of permanent and/or temporary exhibitions around the Jogne Valley (history, iconography) with the aim of promoting identity understanding; the organization of temporary exhibitions around fine arts, crafts and applied arts, with a focus on wood and paper; the publication of research and exhibition catalogs; collection management; and the search for necessary funding. These goals will be achieved by encouraging young talents active in applied arts and fine arts, by transmitting and sharing skills in the field of museology, and by developing cultural pedagogies for all audiences. The foundation does not pursue any lucrative or commercial purpose.
