The foundation aims to contribute to the support, development, access, dissemination and perpetuation of comic book culture in all its forms, such as illustration, press drawing or animated drawing, in particular by participating in the creation and operation of a Museum in the canton of Geneva or a cultural institution of similar purpose and name. It pursues its purpose notably by serving society, offering the public varied experiences of education, entertainment, reflection and knowledge sharing, initiating, accepting, managing and organizing projects, exhibitions, funds and activities directly or indirectly related to the comic book arts in all its forms, enabling these arts to shine, both at the Geneva, regional, national and international levels, or apt to promote them. The Foundation may carry out any financial, commercial and cultural operation related to its purpose, solicit or collect the necessary funds to accomplish its mission or apt to promote it. The Foundation does not pursue any lucrative purpose. The founding members reserve the right to modify the purpose of the Foundation. This modification may occur when at least ten (10) years have elapsed since the constitution of the Foundation or the last modification pronounced, upon unanimous request of the founding members. When the founding member is a legal entity, this right expires at the latest 20 years after the constitution of the Foundation. This right is inalienable and does not pass to the successors of the founding members.
