Fondation Joseph et Lina Spicher

The foundation's purpose is to promote the fight against cancer and other incurable diseases. To this end, the foundation financially supports Swiss tax-exempt institutions due to their public service or public utility purpose, as well as federal, cantonal or communal institutions, such as the CHUV, EPFL and all other university institutions, which are active in research in these fields, awards post-university scholarships to modest students who are unable to finance their post-university studies otherwise, and in general, financially supports all similar activities carried out by Swiss tax-exempt institutions due to their public service or public utility purpose. The foundation provides assistance, in all its forms, to needy individuals residing in Switzerland due to such incurable diseases (for complete purpose see foundation deed).
