to establish and maintain a register of the Montmollin family, where births, marriages, deaths, professions, and residences of its members will be recorded; to ensure the dissemination and, if necessary, publication of works related to the family's history and to send its members a newsletter containing information about the family; to obtain from the rightful owners the transfer of ownership of any documents of interest to the family, including the archives deposited at Neuchâtel Castle, still currently in the care of the State, and to ensure their conservation or management; to facilitate or promote meetings between family members, if necessary by organizing them itself; the foundation may acquire furniture or movable objects of interest to the family as a whole and, if necessary, restore and conserve them; it may also acquire real estate, particularly if it has historical significance for the family; such acquisitions may also be made in the form of bare ownership, with the usufruct of the furniture, objects, and real estate remaining with their previous owners; when the amount of its assets and income permits, the foundation may also: facilitate the professional training or establishment of young family members through a one-time contribution or the payment of subsidies, and provide assistance to family members in need.
