The foundation pursues the following objectives, in particular through the activities mentioned below: 1. to promote the organs of the Saint-François church in Lausanne, notably by: a. creating and maintaining a historical and descriptive record of these organs in the form of printed documents, explanatory plaques, internet content, and any other suitable means; b. organizing concerts, conferences, exhibitions, musical performances, and any other events related to the organ, particularly within the framework of a festival; c. organizing communication, cultural mediation, and educational visits to these organs for the public, particularly young people and students from the Lausanne region; d. disseminating audio and video recordings of the organs, used alone or with other instruments, and any other digital content related to the organ. 2. to ensure the proper maintenance and perpetuity of the organs of the Saint-François church in Lausanne by acting as a contact and competence body for the City of Lausanne (owner of the fixed organs of the Saint-François church). 3. to contribute to the promotion of the organ in general as a dynamic central actor in the region, sensitive to the interdisciplinary dimension and synergies between different religious, artistic, cultural, scientific, and academic institutions, as well as their actors, notably by: a. carrying out educational and research activities in collaboration with local institutions, particularly music schools; b. participating in the rapprochement of various locations and institutions possessing one or more organs in order to create synergies and collaborations around this instrument and its repertoire; c. maintaining privileged relationships with the Haute École de Musique Vaud-Valais-Fribourg in order to allow organists in training to play on various organs in the region, particularly the organs of the Saint-François church. The foundation does not pursue any lucrative purpose.
