The Foundation is exclusively organized for charitable and non-profit purposes. The Foundation's objectives are: to support and promote charitable organizations of all kinds, particularly those providing religious, educational, cultural and social assistance worldwide; to support and promote carefully selected charitable works worldwide that benefit disadvantaged people, education, knowledge transfer and the preservation of cultural and religious heritage; to highlight projects that carefully select and promote environmental protection worldwide. All profits generated by the promotion of these initiatives must be allocated to support the aforementioned charitable works. The Foundation may engage in any other activities that directly or indirectly promote the aforementioned objectives. To achieve its objectives, the Foundation may acquire resources such as goods or services, including license rights, at any time. The Foundation may hold intellectual property rights. The associated profits must be allocated exclusively to the realization of the Foundation's public benefit objectives. The Foundation is non-profit. No part of the Foundation's net income will be attributed or distributed to a member of the Board, a Foundation employee, or any other natural person. The Foundation is authorized to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered to the Foundation, as well as to pay and distribute amounts to satisfy the objectives pursued by the Foundation. The Foundation may acquire real estate within the framework of achieving its purpose, except for operations prohibited by the LFAIE.
