to enable Vietnamese Catholics to exercise their freedom of conscience and to help the poor in Vietnam. In this context, the foundation pursues the following goals in particular: Financing and supporting the provision of medical care for the poor; Financing and supporting food aid for the poor; Financing and supporting social housing for the poor; Financing and supporting the basic needs of the poor; Developing the Catholic Faith through the maintenance, support and upkeep of Catholic missions; Supporting and maintaining priests and lay faithful engaged in Catholic missions; Establishing, supporting and maintaining churches, chapels, schools, dispensaries, presbyteries and residences belonging to or affiliated with the Catholic Church; Providing medical and surgical care to priests, members of the clergy and lay faithful, as well as organizing the burial of deceased Catholic priests and clergy; Educating and training individuals wishing to become priests of the Catholic Church and individuals wishing to be lay faithful engaged in Catholic missions, as well as providing ongoing training for Catholic priests. The purpose of the Foundation, as described above, is primarily focused on the Diocese of Kontum in Vietnam.
