The promotion and support of all forms of medical research conducted by universities and research institutions of all kinds, or by individual scientists, whether affiliated with particular institutions or not, primarily conducted in Geneva with a special focus on the fields of molecular biology and cardiovascular medicine (without being limited exclusively to these areas). The promotion and support of education, particularly for disadvantaged (pre)adolescent youth, with a special focus on the societal and environmental consequences of demographic growth and poverty. The support of projects providing housing and meeting facilities to bring together scientists and academics (short-term or long-term residencies enabling them to focus on research or initiate new initiatives). The Foundation is non-profit, its purpose is exclusively charitable. The Founder expressly reserves the right to modify the purpose under Article 86a CC. The Foundation may also extend its support and promotion to all forms of medical research conducted by universities and research institutions of all kinds, or by individual scientists, whether affiliated with particular institutions or not, in Switzerland or abroad.
