to promote or help promote social tourism in Geneva, in particular to promote, build or acquire, develop and maintain in Geneva affordable accommodation facilities such as youth hostels and hotels for young people, youth groups, schools and families, grouped under the term young tourists; to encourage and support any measure that facilitates the temporary stay of young tourists in Geneva, whether resident or passing through.
