The foundation's main purpose, primarily in Geneva, is to promote the teaching of the Greek language and culture by supporting institutions with similar goals, such as the Cercle des Etudes Grecques in Geneva, or by awarding scholarships to deserving schoolchildren or students, in a spirit of humanism. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may take all necessary actions, including financing or providing support contributions to public or private institutions or individuals, entering into partnerships with them, and coordinating or managing projects, provided that these actions fall within the framework of the foundation's public utility purpose. The foundation has no profit-making purpose and is not of a political, denominational or governmental nature. The founders reserve the right to petition the supervisory authority to modify the foundation's purposes in accordance with the provisions of Article 86a of the Swiss Civil Code.
