To build, maintain and manage healthy, practical, high-quality and moderately priced housing for individuals with insufficient income to afford generally accepted rents, despite being economically active or in the case of retirement or disability. The Foundation will strive to ensure the financing of its constructions on a healthy and profitable basis, without seeking to make profits exceeding the amounts necessary for normal maintenance and amortization of the buildings. It may carry out all real estate and financial transactions directly related to its purpose, including acquiring properties and mortgaging them. The net income from the assets will be allocated to social housing purposes. In general, the beneficiaries of the Foundation are domiciled in the Canton of Geneva or of Genevan origin. The Foundation's activity is of public utility and does not aim to make a profit.
