To assist students or professors of Bolivian nationality, or exceptionally of other nationalities, provided they have a particular connection to Bolivia or Latin America, in pursuing their studies abroad; to support cultural, philanthropic, social and ecological projects related to Bolivia, in particular by providing additional resources to the Simon I. Patino University Foundation, created by him in 1931 to carry out charitable and cultural works; to promote vocational training at all levels; to provide support for cultural projects, such as the awarding of literary or musical prizes, contributions to the publication of books or musical works, without limitation, as well as support for social and ecological projects of interest.
