The Foundation pursues exclusively social and humanitarian solidarity purposes; it is of public utility and non-profit. In particular, the Foundation: encourages, promotes and supports humanitarian projects for people in need due to illness, health needs, marginalization, poverty, natural disasters or due to their political or religious beliefs; promotes and supports awareness-raising initiatives and activities on these issues; works to facilitate the social reintegration and moral recovery of individuals and families in difficulty; helps deserving individuals in the humanitarian field in case they are experiencing economic difficulties. The Foundation carries out its activities in developing countries and, in cases of particular relevance, in other countries. To achieve its purposes, the Foundation may enter into agreements and conventions with other foundations, entities or national or international institutions that pursue similar purposes. Any contributions or assistance to such entities will only be possible if they benefit from tax exemption.
