To intervene financially or otherwise in favour of children, as well as children in need of care and assistance, residing or domiciled in the Canton of Ticino, and others, if circumstances permit, without distinction of religion, nationality, age and sex. It is also an integral part of the foundation's purpose to grant sums of money to public or private entities that pursue the protection and assistance of children, as well as to grant prizes and scholarships to children in need residing in the Canton of Ticino, who attend compulsory or higher schools and achieve outstanding academic results.
