Fondazione Alpe Medeglia

The Foundation aims to promote Ticinese agriculture through prizes or financial contributions to works that, through the press or audiovisual media, stimulate interest in Ticinese agriculture. Contributions may also be awarded for scientific works related to agriculture in general, provided that the author is Ticinese. The Foundation may also award scholarships to deserving young people attending schools, higher education institutions and specialized courses in the field of agriculture in general. Furthermore, contributions may be awarded for projects in the agricultural sector. The Foundation is non-profit and of public utility. The Foundation promotes financial contributions for projects and scholarships in the agricultural sector, advertising them with inserts in the weekly magazine L'Agricoltore Ticinese four times a year.
