To act in the interest of the artistic work of the painter Giovanni (Gianni) Molteni, born in Cantù/Italy on 30.08.1898 and deceased in Sorengo on 12.06.1990, in the manner that the foundation council deems most appropriate, in particular the activity aims to safeguard, protect, make known, promote and develop interest in his work, freely carrying out any and all necessary acts such as: organizing, preserving, researching, documenting, photographing, filming, reproducing, archiving, promoting, publishing, publicly exhibiting, circulating and disseminating the artistic production of Giovanni (Gianni) Molteni, both in Switzerland and abroad. The data and information collected regarding the ownership, possession and location of the works may be made available and communicated to third parties (natural persons, legal entities, authorities and in particular supervisory authorities) only and exclusively with the written consent of the founder. In the event of the founder's incapacity or death, consent may be given only and exclusively by the foundation council.
