The foundation has a public utility character and pursues exclusively beneficial purposes for the benefit of people with disabilities and/or evolutionary deficits. In particular, the foundation intends to make land and buildings available to entities or foundations that are exempt from taxation and are involved in the care of people with disabilities, currently the OTAF foundation in Sorengo, for the management of an agricultural business through the guests of the beneficiary entity or foundation. The foundation may also organize itself as an autonomous agricultural business (direct farmer within the meaning of the LDFR), while maintaining the obligation to operate for the benefit of people with disabilities and to devote any and all revenue to beneficial purposes for the benefit of the foundation itself or entities exempt from taxation. The foundation also aims to support needy individuals or entities, mainly based in the Canton of Ticino.
