The Foundation aims to promote integral humanism in medical sciences: in doctrinal research, experimental research and clinical investigation, and in practical applications. This is based on the doctrinal foundations developed by Prof. Marcello Comel, De Humanis Humane, which constitute the foundation's guiding principles. To this end, it provides awards, supports the work of scholars, particularly through scholarships and prizes, promotes and supports symposia and conferences, publishes their proceedings, and contributes to the publication and dissemination of works and studies. The foundation excludes any discrimination (based on race, religion, sex, etc.) in its pursuit of integral humanism, adhering to the Mediterranean spirituality of empirical Hippocratic medicine and Galilean experimental science. The Foundation's activities can be divided into two sections: a) humanistic culture; b) medical science.
