To promote the economic development of the Canton (Article 3 of the Law on the State Bank of the Canton of Ticino of 25 October 1988) by facilitating access to risk capital for new innovative companies intending to develop in the cantonal territory. To achieve this purpose, the Foundation may promote the establishment and/or control of one or more anonymous companies based in the Canton of Ticino, intended for the provision of risk capital and the subsequent management of participations. The Foundation is authorized to carry out all operations useful for achieving its purpose, notably to invest all or part of its assets, to solicit and receive public or private subsidies, donations and legacies, and to conclude any agreement useful for the aforementioned purposes with public or private organizations. The Foundation pursues exclusively public utility purposes and refrains from any profit-making and private interest purposes.
