The Foundation aims to operate in favour of welfare institutions and needy individuals residing in the Canton of Ticino. The Foundation will allocate 10% of the annual net income of the Foundation's assets to each of the following institutions: Fondazione Luogo Pio G. Riziero Rezzonico Lugano; Società Ticinese per l'assistenza dei ciechi, Lugano; Associazione per una casa evangelica di riposo, Locarno (formerly Casa di riposo evangelica, Orselina); Opera ticinese per l'assistenza alla fanciullezza, O.T.A.F, Sorengo; Municipio di Lugano for the Casa dei bambini di Castagnola; Fondazione Armata della Salute, Bern, provided that the allocations must be used exclusively for beneficial purposes in the Canton of Ticino. The remaining income may be used, as decided by the Foundation Council, for assistance and donations to needy individuals and welfare institutions residing in the Canton of Ticino, in the form of financial contributions. The Foundation pursues objectives of public utility and therefore operates without profit.
