Fondazione Guido Gay Azionemare

The Foundation promotes the exploration of the marine depths in all its aspects. In particular, the institution aims to: promote and/or participate in programs of marine scientific research and marine environmental protection, using surface and underwater means for the deep exploration of the sea, in sectors such as biology, marine geology and geophysics, archaeology, in order to improve knowledge of the marine environment; study, develop and employ new advanced technology devices and instruments for the deep exploration of the sea; produce scientific and educational communication materials related to the above-mentioned sectors and, where possible, highlighting the impact of demographic pressure on the environment. To pursue the above-mentioned purposes, the Foundation may collaborate with institutions or other entities.
