Within the limits of its possibilities, the Foundation aims to support people in need and activities in favor of the community, particularly those of a cultural nature or those aimed at young people or the elderly. The following can be beneficiaries of financial benefits: natural persons, resident in the Iragna area for at least 2 years, who need help; the above-mentioned activities, carried out in the Iragna area, organized by public bodies, associations or non-profit companies; activities organized by the school institution based in the Iragna area. The Foundation Council may also decide to provide financial assistance to other categories of people, limited to a maximum amount of CHF 500.00 per case. Every decision remains at the discretion of the Foundation Council, however, for the determination of the beneficiaries and the amounts of the benefits, the principle of equal treatment applies. The applicant is required to submit the necessary documentation for the evaluation of the case. For the activities mentioned in point 2.1, letters b) and c), the documentation must be submitted before the event/activity. For the processing of applications by the Foundation, the rule of maximum discretion applies. The Foundation pursues objectives of public utility, without profit.
