The Foundation, established for public benefit purposes, has the following objectives: the management of a research and technological competence centre in the field of regenerative medicine and biomedical technologies in the Canton of Ticino; logistical, financial and scientific support, coordination of excellence research projects in the field of regenerative medicine and biomedical technologies, as well as the provision of spaces, infrastructure, laboratories, personnel, knowledge and services to promote research and foster synergies between different research projects and researchers; the promotion and coordination of scientific research and technological innovation in the aforementioned fields, as well as the training of new researchers also in collaboration with public and private entities and academic institutions. To pursue the above objectives, the Foundation may acquire or lease real estate to be used for the public benefit activities described above.
