The Foundation aims to support, through charitable donations and subsidies, the activities of entities and associations active in the fields of social assistance, health and the promotion of youth activities. The promoted, favored or supported activities must have a direct connection with the Mendrisiotto region or the rest of the Canton of Ticino (in order of priority). In order to pursue its purposes, the Foundation may also acquire, hold and sell real estate, as well as hire personnel in its service. By the will of the founder, if one or more of the following properties were to be transferred to the Foundation: parcel no. 538 and 540 RFD Mendrisio-Salorino; PPP no. 15618 (286/1000) of parcel no. 650 RFD of Arogno with exclusive right to unit no. 2; holiday home no. 678H of ICAI located in the Breta area of the municipality of Mesocco, parcel no. 1072, floor no. 14; these may be rented, transferred, donated to non-profit organizations, renovated or sold under the best market conditions, as decided by the Foundation Council, in order to monetize and increase the Foundation's assets. The Foundation Council will ensure, with the Foundation's assets, that the properties and lands are maintained in order until they are owned by the Foundation.
