Pursues public benefit and charitable purposes in accordance with Swiss and Ticino civil and tax legislation. It operates in the Canton of Ticino in favour of needy persons whose economic resources are insufficient to ensure them adequate assistance, particularly if they are infirm or elderly. To this end, the Foundation operates on its own or through other institutions recognized by the Canton as public benefit entities. Any political, ethnic, national or denominational influence is excluded.
