To promote in the Canton of Ticino the fight against cancer, the care of cancer patients and their support. The Foundation may also grant financial assistance to those in need with independent activities for loss of earnings not covered by insurance or other entities; to the disabled due to illness, in a subsidiary manner to the intervention of disability insurance; to those in need due to the loss of earnings of a spouse, parent, child or other relative who ceases, suspends or reduces their work activity to care for the sick, limited to the time necessary for such assistance.
