The foundation provides funding to associations or entities that operate in the field of combating dependencies (prevention, assistance, recovery of dependents). The purpose of the foundation is of purely public interest, excluding any profit-making purpose. In particular, the foundation is committed to financing the creation and management of a documentation center on alcoholism and more generally on dependencies at the Ingrado-Center for the treatment of alcoholism managed by the Ticino Foundation for the treatment of alcoholism (STCA) and the establishment of a research prize. Should this project be abandoned, the foundation will fund other projects, associations or entities in the field of dependencies, with similar purposes and objectives, operating in Ticino.
