The financing of the Raffaella Cuccia Children's Block, a pediatric unit at the Gulu Regional Referral Hospital, Gulu, Uganda, directly or indirectly through the Italian non-profit organization Soleterre - Strategie di Pace ONLUS or any eventual non-profit successor organization. The Foundation operates in the charity sector and has as its institutional purpose solidarity and cooperation for international and national human development, aiming to promote and foster a culture of peace to ensure that every individual, without any discrimination, can apply and recognize human rights in the dimension of helping others, especially those in need or illness, in order to help, support and assist, directly and indirectly, particularly children and their families. The Foundation promotes the support of humanitarian, health and social projects mainly abroad. To achieve its purpose directly and indirectly, the Foundation can finance individual projects directly, mainly abroad in developing countries and particularly in Africa, and also indirectly through other foreign or Swiss non-profit organizations that align with its non-profit goals. The Foundation can also finance projects directly or indirectly in Switzerland. The Foundation collects the necessary funds to achieve these goals. The Raffaella Children's Block Foundation is of public utility and pursues its goals without profit.
