The performance of public utility and charitable tasks, such as: a) providing shelter for orphans and needy children of both sexes up to the age of 15, with preference given to those from the region and of Swiss nationality; b) assisting and caring for the sick at home; c) providing shelter for elderly and needy individuals who require rest and care and are in a state of distress, with preference given to those who have sacrificed themselves in caring for diseases that afflict underdeveloped populations; d) establishing a school of domestic economy to prepare young women of all social classes for the needs of life, according to the programs in force in public schools; e) any other tasks, as needed and possible, at the discretion of the administration.
