To help, support, advise, accompany, assist and protect families who have lost a child and all those who have lost a relative or a loved one in traumatic circumstances. In particular, the foundation, which operates in the canton of Ticino, provides moral and practical assistance to families, relatives and loved ones in distress, informing them about private and public entities and professionals they can turn to; acting as an intermediary and/or establishing contacts between families, relatives and loved ones and these entities and/or professionals. The foundation seeks to respond to every immediate and future need and necessity that families, relatives and loved ones require following the loss of a child or a loved one. The foundation also intends to raise awareness in society about the needs, requirements, difficulties and experiences of families and individuals directly affected by such a loss. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may organize courses and events. The foundation is authorized to take all necessary measures to promote the purposes for which it was established. It is also authorized to acquire, manage, encumber and sell real estate and participations. The foundation may collaborate with public and private entities based in Switzerland and abroad that pursue similar purposes to those of the foundation itself. The foundation is of public utility and pursues its purposes without profit.
