Fondazione Solferino

The assistance, both direct and indirect, of people in need, immigrants, asylum seekers and in general of people residing or in transit in the Canton of Ticino, particularly in the Sottoceneri region, who do not have the necessary means for their own subsistence and for their return to their country of origin. The Foundation may, for this purpose, rent, acquire, build or otherwise dispose of real estate necessary to achieve its main objectives. To support, both directly and indirectly, recognized foundations and associations with similar purposes, and to the extent that this serves the intentions of the founders and is inspired by the principles of Henry Dunant.
