The foundation's purpose is to protect the company's members against the economic consequences resulting from old age, disability and death. If the assets permit, the Foundation may also pay, in case of need, benefits in case of illness, accident or unemployment. The foundation may also create special funds within itself for a specific purpose. The foundation cannot make any payments to the company under the law or a contract, nor any other payment having the character of a remuneration for work (family allowances, cost-of-living allowances, seniority bonuses or other salary supplements).
