The Alpkapelle serves as a place of prayer and Roman Catholic worship, especially for Roman Catholic clergy and the young people they care for who stay in the nearby Alten Alphütte. The chapel foundation guarantees, in the faithful fulfillment of its purpose, that the chapel is available to believers and clergy in accordance with the guidelines of the Catholic Church, and ensures that the chapel remains dedicated to this function in the service of the people of God. In particular, the foundation aims to enable the proper administration of the Alpkapelle and its entire inventory, and to take care of the professional maintenance, as well as any necessary repairs and renovations of the buildings and inventory items, in consideration of the responsibility of the parish priest of Stierva.
