The acquisition, disposal, holding and management of participations in companies, with the exception of operations prohibited in Switzerland by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE). Furthermore, the company has the right to establish branches and subsidiaries, both domestically and abroad, and to acquire participations in other companies, both domestically and abroad, and to carry out all operations directly or indirectly related thereto. The practice also includes acquiring, encumbering, transferring or administering real estate, both domestically and abroad, with the exception of operations prohibited by the LFAIE. It may also provide financing for its own account or for the account of third parties and grant guarantees and securities for its subsidiaries as well as third parties.
