The association aims to actively disseminate information and promote occupational health management (OHM) in the Basel region. To this end, the association conveys knowledge about measures to promote health in the workplace and how these can be anchored in the company's strategy. In addition, the association networks companies and organizations based in or operating in the Basel region with various stakeholders from the economy, politics, associations, education, and health for a targeted and beneficial exchange on current OHM topics. The association thereby strives to maintain and improve the health and work ability of the working population and aims to contribute to the promotion of productivity, innovation, performance, and competitiveness of companies and the economy in the region in general. The association can initiate or participate in activities serving this purpose and collaborate with other organizations. The association has an exclusively non-profit purpose and is politically and denominationally independent.
