La Fraternité - Humanitaire (FMHI) Geneva has as its social objective to promote peace, unity, love in consciousness and selfless service, through national and international humanitarian missions and selfless actions of its members, affiliated organizations and collaborators, in humanitarian, charitable, philosophical-scientific, cultural and environmental preservation aspects, while maintaining the execution of activities based on the aspiration of fraternity and universal charity, principles that are the pillars of La Fraternité - Humanitaire (FMHI) Geneva. 1. La Fraternité - Humanitaire (FMHI) Geneva, in its multiple aspects, has as its main objectives: a) To achieve humanitarian assistance objectives, provide assistance in socio-environmental emergency situations, disasters and public calamities and/or in situations of vulnerability and social risk, conflicts and wars; b) To alleviate human suffering in situations of individual or collective vulnerability; in addition to contributing to its prevention, by creating dignified living conditions; always having the common good as a priority objective; c) To help and support children around the world in situations of war, conflict, poverty, disease and family disintegration; d) To help and support refugees and the homeless in different nations of the world; e) To promote respect and protection of human life, families, maternity and old age; f) To promote respect and protection of animal, plant and mineral life, working for the defense of natural resources and environmental preservation; g) To promote citizenship and gratitude for every opportunity to serve others and the planet, free of charge and voluntarily; h) To promote the training and qualification of volunteer missionaries and the Planetary Missionary Network, composed of people from different parts of the world; i) To ensure the integrity and development of all its members and collaborators; j) To ensure the guarantee of the rights and freedoms provided for in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. 2. To fulfill its social objective, La Fraternité - Humanitaire (FMHI) Geneva may carry out actions such as: a) Making donations; b) Organizing various campaigns, meetings and events; c) Developing research, programs, studies and projects, including those of a scientific nature; d) Collecting donations, whether in cash, movable and/or immovable property, patrimonial benefits, as well as those provided for in articles 40 and 41 of these Statutes, and/or other goods, provided they come from legal sources; e) Carrying out and promoting supports, partnerships and exchanges of all kinds, always in compliance with the statutory provisions; f) Promoting exchanges and experiences of assistance, as well as the renewal of forms of group interaction, aiming at the development of humanitarian service; g) Affiliating with similar organizations; h) Signing various contracts, conventions and agreements, both with public power and private institutions, applying their operational results fully in the development of institutional objectives; i) Establishing and maintaining coordinations, multidisciplinary technical teams, study and/or work groups, commissions, delegations, centers, a planetary missionary network and/or service networks, workshops, offices, etc. j) Maintaining, transferring and/or closing branches and/or representations in any part of the national territory and abroad, in accordance with the law of each country and the statutory provisions.
